Town Builders is a full-service home building company located in Birmingham, Alabama.  We aim to exceed our customers’ expectations by striving for excellence, always seeking the highest level of craftsmanship and transparency in all we do.  We focus on providing a great customer experience, while executing the details and timelines associated with the projects we are grateful to be a part of.  Given the uncertainty in construction, we prepare for the unknown and are willing to pivot at any moment.  We look at each project as a collaboration of owner, designer and builder, where trust, transparency and communication are critical to achieve our goals.  Ultimately, we all work together to create a one-of-a-kind piece of work that we are all proud of in the end.

Our Story

Town Builders was established over 20 years ago as the in-house building company for EBSCO Development Company.  Our team has constructed well over 250 homes in The Town of Mt Laurel, located in Birmingham, AL.  We focus on new construction ranging in size and types of construction.  We have been blessed to build for some of the most talented architects and home designers in Birmingham and the most wonderful clients.

Town Builders Construction is currently owned by Bryan Phillips.  He served over 15 years at various positions under the leadership of one of Birmingham’s pioneer contractors, EBSCO Development's previous long-standing Vice President and General Manager John O. Freeman, Sr.  Bryan Phillips took over the leadership position in 2016, and later acquired the company from EBSCO.  He has combined all the mentoring and influence of previous leadership, while adding his personal vision to ensure each Town Builders’ home represents quality craftsmanship and each clients’ expectations are met.

As a company, we work hard to create a culture where there is trust and respect, transparency and openness among one another.  This is the same approach we take with our clients.  We strive to keep open and transparent conversation regarding cost, our process, schedule and detail surrounding each project.  We focus intently on the details and our execution, because we know this along with our values are what will differentiate us from the others in our field.
